Within the agreed PPP scheme, repayments for the D4R7 project will be significantly lower than previously expected, to be soften in almost 7%. Thanks to the positive situation on financial markets when closing the D4R7 contract between the Slovak republic and the concessionaire, the state has successfully managed to decrease the interest rate of the D4R7 regular payoffs, making the PPP project even more favourable.
The concession contract has been signed in Šamorín today. This will finally enable to proceed with the D4R7 construction, through the PPP public- private partnership project scheme.
It has been reported the planned Bratislava Bypass D4 and the Expressway R7 can be significantly lower than expected. The Minister of the Transport, Mr Počiatek, officially announced received bids from 4 consortiums taking part in the opened tender.
Bratislava is not only the capital city of Slovakia, but the international transit hub facing thousands of cars approaching Bratislava daily - from the Czech republic, Austria, Hungary and Poland, or cars heading towards these countries passing Bratislava.
The key report shows the construction of the Bratislava Bypass D4 and the Expressway R7 can be done under very favourable conditions. The final conclusion identifies the fact it is due to the Public- Private –Partnership (PPP) scheme.
